Hi, I’m Becca Bleu. Welcome.

I’m an illustrator and fiber artist who loves making hand-drawn work that feels thoughtful, a little playful, and very much made by a person. My work moves between illustration, surface pattern design, and fiber arts—especially cross-stitch—and I’m happiest when I’m turning small ideas into things you can hold, stitch, revisit, or live with for a while.

I tend to follow curiosity more than a single fixed style. Some of my illustration work leans soft and whimsical, some of it is more structured and design-forward, and a lot of it lives somewhere in between. I enjoy drawing motifs, building patterns, and letting details repeat and evolve. Many of these illustrations eventually find their way into surface designs or stitched pieces, where they can slow down and take on a new life.

Fiber art is a big part of how I stay grounded creatively. Right now, my fiber work focuses on cross-stitch—designing patterns to create original pieces, and creating projects that feel approachable and satisfying to work on at your own pace. There’s something about stitching that asks you to slow down and be present, and that mindset has shaped the way I approach all of my work, even when I’m drawing digitally.

This website is my creative home base. It’s a place where I share what I’m making, how I work, and the kinds of projects I’m excited about. You’ll find a mix of illustration, pattern and surface design, and fiber arts here, along with glimpses into my process and ongoing work. It’s not meant to be loud or overwhelming—just a clear window into my creative world.

From time to time, I also take on select illustration and design projects, collaborations, and licensing work, especially when they’re a good fit for my style and interests. If you’re curious about working together, you can find more details in the Work With Me section.

Mostly, though, I hope this space feels inviting. A place to wander, look closely, and get a sense of how my work comes together. Thanks for stopping by—I’m really glad you’re here. 🖤
