Hi, I’m Becca.
I’m an illustrator and fiber artist who loves hand-drawn work, quiet details, and the slow magic of making things with care. My creative practice lives at the intersection of illustration, surface design, and fiber arts—especially cross-stitch and crochet—and it’s shaped by curiosity, patience, and a deep appreciation for process.
I’ve always been drawn to work that feels personal and tactile. I like art that shows the hand behind it, that isn’t in a rush to be perfect, and that rewards a closer look. Whether I’m sketching motifs, building repeating patterns, or translating drawings into stitchable designs, I’m interested in how small ideas grow into something meaningful over time.
Illustration is where everything begins for me. My drawings tend to move between soft and whimsical, cozy and structured, depending on the project and my mood. I don’t believe in locking myself into a single style—instead, I follow what feels interesting and let the work evolve. Many of my illustrations eventually become surface patterns or fiber pieces, allowing the same idea to exist in different forms.
Fiber arts are where my work slows down and becomes physical. Cross-stitch and crochet play a central role in my practice, not just as finished objects but as ways of thinking. Designing patterns teaches me to be clear, thoughtful, and considerate of the maker on the other side. Stitching reminds me to take my time, enjoy repetition, and trust the process. That mindset carries into everything I create.
This site is my creative home base. It’s a place to share my work, my process, and the things I’m excited about, without chasing trends or noise. You’ll find illustration projects, surface and pattern design, fiber art, and the occasional peek behind the scenes. Some of my work is available as digital patterns or ongoing creative projects, while other pieces exist simply as part of my portfolio and creative exploration.
I also collaborate with clients on select illustration, surface design, and fiber-related projects. I’m especially drawn to work that values hand-drawn art, craft, and thoughtful design. If you’re interested in working together, you can find more details on the Work With Me page.
When I’m not drawing or stitching, I’m usually collecting reference photos, reorganizing art supplies, or quietly dreaming up the next project. I believe art doesn’t have to be loud to be meaningful—and that making things slowly is still a powerful choice.
Thanks for being here and spending time with my work. It truly means a lot.
Tools & Process
While my work is rooted in hand-drawn ideas, I’m comfortable moving between traditional and digital workflows. I regularly use Procreate and Adobe Photoshop as part of my illustration and design process, whether I’m sketching, refining linework, building color palettes, or preparing finished files for print and digital use.
I enjoy the flexibility digital tools offer, especially when paired with a hand-drawn approach. They allow me to experiment, iterate, and adapt work for different formats while still keeping the warmth and personality of the original drawing intact.
